Welcome to Love in Tableware—where every meal begins with artistry.
For nearly two centuries, Christofle has been synonymous with fine French silversmithing, blending tradition with innovation to create pieces that bring beauty and refinement to everyday life. Founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle, the house revolutionized silver artistry by introducing electroplating in 1842, making high-quality craftsmanship more accessible while preserving its legacy of excellence.
What makes Christofle truly special is its ability to turn silverware into an experience—elevating the ordinary into something memorable. Whether it’s the timeless elegance of Malmaison or the modern sophistication of MOOD, each collection strikes a perfect balance between heritage and contemporary design. Every piece is meticulously crafted, reflecting an unwavering commitment to artistry, quality, and innovation.
More than just tableware, Christofle’s creations transform daily rituals into cherished moments. Whether setting a formal dinner table or enjoying a quiet morning with a silver-plated cup in hand, Christofle brings a quiet grace to life’s simple pleasures—proof that beauty is found in the details.

Christofle’s History
Founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle, the company began as a gold jewelry manufacturer before pioneering silver plating in France through electrolysis in 1842. Christofle gained prestige by supplying silverware to King Louis-Philippe and later Napoleon III, leading to commissions from European and international royalty.
Under the leadership of Paul Christofle and Henri Bouilhet, the company expanded its expertise into new techniques, factories, and large-scale decorative works, including the Opéra Garnier. Over time, Christofle became a leader in fine silverware, not only for tableware but also for objets d’art and monumental designs. In 1951, it acquired Maison Cardeilhac, further solidifying its reputation in French silversmithing.

What I Appreciate About Christofle
There’s an effortless elegance in Christofle that I truly admire. Their silverware isn’t just about luxury—it carries a sense of history, craftsmanship, and refinement that makes every piece feel special. I love how their designs balance classic French artistry with contemporary style, creating tableware that is both sophisticated and welcoming.
What draws me in the most is the way Christofle elevates everyday moments. Whether it’s the weight of a perfectly crafted spoon or the gleam of a silver tray, their pieces turn even simple meals into something memorable. It’s not just tableware—it’s an experience, a quiet reminder that beauty belongs in the details of daily life.
